New Moon To Continue Despite Twilight Lawsuit
VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Apr. 21 (TOTI) –
The show must go on, and in the case of New Moon, it will.
Heidi Stanton, who attended Brigham Young University with Stephenie Meyer, the author of Twilight, says that Meyer stole her idea for a short story and turned into the blockbuster book series.
A representative for Summit Entertainment denied the suit would cause a disruption in the filming of New Moon, which is currently being filmed on location in Vancouver, British Columbia.
“Production is underway, in Vancouver, totally as planned. There is no delay. Whatever youre hearing about a lawsuit interfering with the film (and) its release, all I can say is its totally false,” the rep said.
Staunton filed suit against her old friend, saying it was her idea all along.
“Quite frank…

Watchmen Movie Review
LOS ANGELES, Ca., Mar. 7 (TOTI) –
The Watchmen is epic in length and message, so a quick summary of the movie won’t do it justice. The film is visually impressive, creating an alternative 1985 that makes you feel like you really could be there. The characters are some of the grimmest and amoral âheroesâ you’re ever likely to meet. Long after the movie ends, you’ll probably be thinking about some of the gory yet moving scenes.
The characters are so grim because a final nuclear war with Russia seems inevitable for the United States, which is being lead by Richard Nixon in his fifth term. There’s endless posturing going on behind both nations, and it seems highly probable that the two countries will soon launch a nuclear attack that will destroy life on the planet as we know it. One man, Dr. Manhattan, can save earth, but he doesn’t really seem to …

Kevin Nealon Is Back In Remarkable Power
LOS ANGELES, Ca., Mar. 5 (TOTI) —
Kevin Nealon is one of those actors who doesn’t seem to get that much credit, despite the fact he’s always good. His new movie Remarkable Power is an independent feature which gives him a chance to flex his acting muscle.
The show stars off with a decent premise:
This is an exciting crime drama about a popular talk show host, Jack West (Kevin Nealon), facing cancellation and resorting to desperate means to save his career. In the meantime, his faithful wife demonstrates the fallacy of that pact; a young neophyte learns what street smarts mean; a private detective (played by Tom Arnold) reluctantly takes on a partner who is an artist and likes violently dead models; and a ruthless, Jewish drug dealer…

Penn, who previously won an Oscar for his work in Mystic River,
beat out favorite Mickey Rourke for the best lead actor gong this year.
You commie, homo-loving sons of guns. I did not expect this,
Penn declared upon accepting his trophy. I want it to be very clear that I do know how hard I make it to appreciate me often. But I am touched by the appreciation.
Before leaving the stage, Penn gave a nod to Rourke, remarking, Mickey Rourke rises again and he is my brother.
Milk
also earned scribe Dustin Lance Black the Oscar for …

Why Twilight’s Jacob Black Is Better Than Edward Cullen For Bella Swan
Why Twilight’s Jacob Black Is Better Than Edward Cullen For Bella Swan
LOS ANGELES, Ca., Feb.10 (TOTI) –
Even though Edward Cullen captured Bella Swan’s heart in Twilight, here are the reasons I think that Jacob Black is a better match for her.
1. He’s tall, dark and handsome. Unlike Edward Cullen, his complexion isn’t the same color as “Plaster of Paris.”
Even though Edward Cullen’s skin glitters like diamonds in the sunlight, his aversion to the sun would likely put a rift in any relationship.
Did I mention that Jacob Black has perfect teeth?
2. Jacob has Bella’s best interest at heart. Bella and Jacob have known each other since they were small children, so he cares more about her than Edward does.
3. Edward’s family is still a bunch of vampires. If you think it’s hard t…
