NEW YORK, Nov. 6 (UPI) –

Comedy Central says it will begin airing next year the animated U.S. comedy series The Goode Family, which started out on ABC.

Media Rights Capital, Ternion Pictures, 3Arts Entertainment and Comedy Central announced Friday the show from Mike Judge, John Altschuler and Dave Krinsky will start airing on its new network Jan. 6. The complete first season of The Goode Family will be broadcast on Wednesday nights.

The show first premiered on ABC last May.

Mike, John and Dave certainly turn the tables on liberals with this show. That’s not done very often on television, but the humor comes from skewering extremism and taking things too far, either to the left or the right, Modi Wiczyk — co-chief executive officer of MRC — said in a statement. We know Comedy Central viewers will embrace ‘The Goode Family.’

NEW YORK CITY, NY., Nov. 5 (TOTI) –

Chris Brown and Rihanna will both be on television today, detailing their versions of what’s happened since Brown beat Rihanna on the night of the Grammy Awards.

Rihanna will be appearing on 20/20 where she talks about the incident. She relates that if it could happen to her, it could happen to anybody.

Brown, for his part, will appear on MTV, where he’s expected to take responsibility for his actions.

“My thoughts is like, ‘Why did it happen?’, like ‘What was I thinking?’, ‘What is wrong with you?’” Brown said.

Rihanna has remained extremely popular ever since the assault, but Brown hasn’t been so lucky. His popularity has declined precipitously, and it is hoped that his new Fan Appreciation tour will help to win people back to his side.

Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin have been selected to host the 82nd annual Oscar Award show.

Adam Shankman and Bill Mechanic, producers of the show said, “We think the team of Steve and Alec are the perfect pair of hosts for the Oscars. Steve will bring the experience of having hosted the show in the past and Alec will be a completely fresh personality for this event.”

Martin hosted both the 73rd and the 75th Oscar Award show, so he is no stranger to the event. Of his upcoming host gig, Steve Martin said, “I am happy to co-host the Oscars with my enemy Alec Baldwin.”

Alec Baldwin’s thoughts were, “I don’t play the banjo, but I’m thrilled to be hosting the Oscars – it’s the opportunity of a lifetime.”

The 82nd Annual Oscar Award show airs on ABC on March 7, 2010.

The beautiful Houghton is no stranger to performing on stage. She is the front woman for The Valli Girls.

Houghton is the heart and soul of the group.

Jackson Rathbone recently dished on the upcoming film, New Moon, the second installation in the Twilight saga. Rathbone plays the part of Jasper Hale, a vampire with an ability
to transform and manipulate the emotions of people that are around them.

Of the upcoming film, Jackson told Pixie magazine, “We do a little bit more with Jasper’s character, which is really nice. We actually get to showcase his special skill: the ability
to manipulate emotions. Everything that I was holding back in the first film, I got to unleash a little bit in the second film. We are going to do even more in the third film.”

David Cook didn’t care about age when he first became romantically involved with beautiful Kim Johnston, but that all changed as his fan-base grew.

Johnston, 35, met Cook, 26, through MySpace and the two hit it off great. She even asked the entertainer if he was bothered by their age difference.

“David asked me my age initially,” Kim told Star. “I told him, and asked if it bothered him. He said ‘Not at all. You’re beautiful and intelligent.’ Within a week were e-mailing and calling each other regularly, talking all night about our careers, families, past relationships. He was on the Idol tour and he even told me to get a Web cam so he could see me on the computer on the tour bus.”

ATLANTA, GA., Oct. 3 (TOTI) –

Ashley “A.J.” Jewell, the fiancee of Kandi Burress of Real Housewives of Atlanta has been pronounced dead from injuries suffered in a fight in an Atlanta strip club.

Jewell was pronunced dead at Piedmont Hospital. He had been taken there after being involved in a brawl at The Body Tap Club, which is located at 1271 Marietta Blvd.

“He got into a fist fight,” said Lieutenant Keith Meadows of the Atlanta PD. “At some point in that altercation he sustained a serious blow to the head.”

The altercation occurred in the strip club’s parking lot around 10pm. The two men had been involved in an argument that lead to a physical encounter.

Police are looking for a suspect in the case.

“We have developed a person of interest in this case,” Meadows said. “We are i…

Tool Academy 2 has debuted on VH1 and even the “tools” seem embarrassed to be on the show. They should be.

In the first episode, the tools find out that they’ve been dragged to the show in order to receive some lessons in how to be good boyfriends. They’re quite surprised. These guys thought they were in the running for something called “The Her International Party King.” Ha. Think again, tool.

Instead they’ll be humiliated at every turn by their irate girlfriends and the vicious producers of Tool Academy.

One thing seems certain. These guys really weren’t expecting to be tools on the newest season of Tool Academy, and some of them seemed downright embarassed to be on the show. That’s a good thing. That might even mean there’s hope somewhere inside these Neanderthals to make change. But don’t hold your breath….
