Britney Spears is not pleased that her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, has found a new girlfriend. Spears may not have cared about the relationship between K-Fed and Victoria Prince, but she’s none too happy about the time that Prince is spending with her little darlings, Preston and Jayden. Federline angered Britney when he brought Prince on a family outing to Shaver Lake, California.

Twilight’s Taylor Lautner Beefs Up For “New Moon”

Taylor Lautner knows that he has big shoes to fill when he reprises his role as Jacob Black in the Twilight sequel New Moon.
The 16 year old actor steps in as a leading man in the upcoming movie that begins production in March 2009.
Taylor has been spending a lot of time and doing a lot of hard work to make sure that he fits the role.
Lautner admitted, “I’ve been working hard for eight or nine months.”

After Q4 loss, Chartered to cut 600 jobs

Chartered Semiconductor, one of the world’s biggest custom microchip makers, said Friday it would cut hundreds of jobs worldwide as it announced a fourth-quarter net loss of 114 million US dollars.
The company, which is listed in Singapore as well as on the Nasdaq in New York, pointed to slowing demand in the face of the global economic crisis, which has left key customers with vast inventories on hand.
It said it would cut 600 jobs “in the coming days,” bringing the total workforce reduction since the third quarter to about 1,300 positions, or approximately 18 percent of the total.
The job cuts were “a painful but prudent business decision” that would provide 16 million dollars in annual savings, chief executive Chia Song Hwee said.
