lupelasano
I understand your emnity with regard to Dungy. As he's proven to be a class act over his entire career. I live in the Tampa Bay area where he's still very much respected. And there's an affinity for him not just as a coach but as a well liked human being.

Unfortunately we've got one or two idiots who pass themselves off as knowledgeable individuals when it comes to the NFL on the local sport's talk radio. They're of the opinion that Dungy when compared to his successor here with the Buccaneers is no match. I'd say this to them however until Gruden is able to match Dungy's legacy. He'll always be thought as the guy who won with the team that Dyngy put together. Other than that he's not developed a player of consequence or has a coaching stable to match.

As a Browns fan I'd love to have had a coach like Dungy for these last 7 years. The Colts will miss him I think.

There aren't too many guys that've accomplished what Dungy has done over the course of his coaching career. And that's for 10 consecutive seasons he's taken a team into the playoffs.

And having won a Superbowl as well being respected by his peers and players across the league. Perhaps now is the right time for him to step down and do something else meaningful with his life. He's got so much to offer !
